10, 11, 12/52 - the Catchup

The weeks have flown as our life has taken an unexpected turn and shifted in a bright direction. This space may have taken backstage but life has gone on in the same wild way as it does when living under a roof with a three year old

"A portrait of my daughter once a week, every week in 2015"

Lottie Cakes: Visiting Daddy at work on the way to your best friends birthday party. Adorned with all the fancy "jewels" you could find and freshly painted red nails you say "Now I'm the Mommy!". This ol worn out Mama is highly flattered you find her so fancy! Then you spilled your delicious, very stainable pink smoothie all over your party dress ... No little darling, now you are the mommy ;)

"A portrait of my daughter once a week, every week in 2015"

Lottie Cakes: Like a fish. This is the year you start swimming on your own. You've been in the water since infancy, never wanting to get out, splashing about until your little fingers and toes looked that of a 100 year old woman, but this year you grew fins and took off alone. Jumping from the edge, swimming under water, tiny freckles splattered on your nose from long days paddling away. Barely three and free as can be, my little aquarian lady.
